Working towards Net Zero
Net zero refers to a state in which the greenhouse gases going into the atmosphere are balanced by removal out of the atmosphere. The term net zero is important because – for CO2 at least – this is the state at which global warming stops. The Paris Agreement underlines the need for net zero. It requires states to ‘achieve a balance between anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks of greenhouse gases in the second half of this century’.
International shipping transports the majority of the world’s goods and is responsible for 3% of global emissions, potentially increasing by half by 2050 on its current trajectory. To set international shipping on an ambitious zero-emission trajectory, we need commercially viable, zero-emission ocean-going vessels in the global fleet by 2030.

Muhammet Kaya
Chief Executive Officer and President
Muhammet Kaya graduated from London Metropolitan University in 2010. Since then, he has worked in the commodity industry, including steel, mineral, Oil and Gas. In 2023 He established Les Vents Marins Limited as an international ship owner and broker in the UAE.
Capitan Sundeep Dabral
Chief Technical Officer
Capitan Sundeep Dabral started his marine career in 1995 in a Norwegian management company. Since then, he has been working on various types of oil tankers, chemical and bulk vessels. He has deep understanding of the vessels, experience in newbuilding projects. As the Chief Technical Officer at LVM, he is working on ECO friendly designs for the new tankers that will be delivered in the coming years.
Lee Richards
Chartering Team
Lee Richards brings 38 years of experience in the shipping industry, beginning his career as a Sale and Purchase Trainee Shipbroker at a London-based shipbroking firm. Over the years, he has worked across diverse sectors—serving shipowners, oil traders, and brokerage firms while handling project work and spot business. His international experience has given him deep expertise in global markets, covering multiple vessel types and key trading regions. As Commercial Manager at LVM in Singapore, Lee is focused on expanding the company’s footprint and exploring new business opportunities for future growth.
